One man is dead and another injured following an early morning crash in Chaguanas.
The accident happened just after 5am at the corner of Dass Trace and Enterprise Main Road.
Eyewitnesses say the vehicle involved swerved to avoid a maxi taxi before crashing.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Narise Jackman, known as “Selectah N-Tech” of SCORCH Radio. In a statement, the station described his passing as a profound loss, noting he joined their DJ line-up in 2024 and quickly became a fan favourite for his passion and energy behind the turntables.
Tributes continue to pour in for Selectah N-Tech from those in the radio community, as he was the son of Maurice Jackman, also known as “DJ Maggie.”
