Minister of Finance, Davendranath Tancoo, and a team of Ministry officials met with representatives from the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) to discuss ongoing initiatives and to highlight the bank’s role as Trinidad and Tobago’s principal multilateral development partner.
The meeting, which took place on Monday at the Ministry’s Head Office, covered the strong relationship between the entities spanning over 30 years and their continued collaboration with the Ministry of Finance.
CAF partners directly on programmes including loan financing and technical assistance support on a range of issues such as flood mitigation, corporate governance for state-owned entities, digital payments and e-identity, and public procurement.
