The inaugural Handing-Over Parade for incoming Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro will be held on Tuesday at the Police Academy in St. James.
A media release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service indicates that Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander, newly selected Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro, members of the Executive, and First Division Officers will be in attendance at the event.
On Friday, the Lower House of Parliament unanimously approved Mr. Guevarro’s nomination.
Currently a Senior Superintendent of Police with the Special Branch, Mr. Guevarro will take over duties from Acting Commissioner of Police Junior Benjamin.
