Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (TSTT) today announced the departure of Kent Western as Chief Executive Officer.
During his tenure, Mr. Western led the company through a period of transformation that included a return to profitability, improved customer satisfaction scores and increased employee satisfaction.
Keino Cox, Assistant Vice President of Emerging Services and Innovation, has been appointed Acting CEO, effective immediately.
Mr. Cox brings over 25 years of leadership experience in telecommunications, digital innovation, and public sector modernization. He holds an MBA with Distinction from the Arthur Lok Jack School of Business and a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of the West Indies. He has also completed executive training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is widely regarded as a regional leader in innovation, digital strategy, and supply chain management.
“It has been an honour to lead TSTT through such a critical period,” said Mr. Western. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made together and I’m confident in the team’s ability to continue driving positive change.”
Mr. Cox said, “I thank Kent for his leadership over the years. TSTT is on a strong path, and I look forward to building on the momentum alongside our talented team.”
