T&T’s Kedie Johnson Joins Saint-Étienne

Twenty-four-year-old Trinidad and Tobago women’s footballer Kedie Johnson has signed for French first division club Saint-Étienne from second division team Lille.

Johnson is the club’s seventh signing of the transfer window, as they aim to better their 10th-place finish from last season.

Speaking about the move, she expressed her pride in signing for the club and added that it isn’t often that a Trinidadian player gets the opportunity to play at the highest level in France.

Johnson signed for Lille in 2023 and took part in seven games. However, the team’s season ended in relegation. In her second season, Johnson played 18 matches, helping Lille to a seventh-place finish.
