The Trinidad and Tobago Under 21 Women’s netball team were handed their second straight defeat of the World Netball Youth Cup in Gibraltar, on Saturday.
T&T suffered a heavy 65-29 loss against Pool D opponents, Malawi.
It was a busy first quarter for goal shoot Stella Matelez who led Malawi to a commanding lead of 22-8.
T&T struggled to bridge the score as they went in 32-17 down at half-time.
Malawi piled on the pressure in the second half, with T&T losing by a 36 point margin.
T&T will next face South Africa on Monday.
