Attorney General Defends Caribbean Financial Action Task Force Amendments

Attorney General John Jeremie sought to clear the air in the Senate on Friday on Trinidad and Tobago’s compliance with the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force, CFATF.

The AG dismissed claims that the legislation before the Upper House was flawed or late. He explained that the amendments stem from a process started three years ago, to align with FATF requirements.
