Two suspects were arrested by officers of the Southern Division during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the San Fernando district yesterday.
The operation was spearheaded by Snr. Supt. Simon, Supt. Jaikaran, ASP Ramsaran, Insp. Maharaj and supervised by Sgt. Nandlal, Sgt. (Ag.) Seecharan and Cpl (Ag.) Huggins, and included officers of the San Fernando Police Station.
The officers placed special emphasis on several areas in the Division during the period 8am and 12pm on Monday September 29th, 2025.
The intelligence-led exercise resulted in the arrest of a 35-year-old man of La Romaine for Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
A 31-year-old Gasparillo man was also arrested in connection with a report of Larceny by Trick.
Investigations are ongoing into the two above matters.
