The National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago warmly invites the public to celebrate Divali 2025 with The Guiding Lights of Heritage, taking place at Mille Fleurs Heritage House on Friday October 17th 2025 from 5PM to 8PM.
This annual celebration at one of the nation’s most treasured heritage houses promises an evening of culture, heritage, and light, bringing together communities to honour the Festival of Lights.
The evening begins with a cultural opening led by Pundit Teka, followed by remarks from special guests and partners. Guests will enjoy a unique fashion show of Indian wear modeled by staff members of the National Trust, featuring pieces from House of Jaipur. The celebration continues with the traditional lighting of deeyas on the Mille Fleurs grounds, filling the heritage house with the symbolic glow of light overcoming darkness.
The programme also includes Indian classical dance, tabla performances, mehendi art and cultural presentations by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute. Guests are also welcome to explore Mille Fleurs through exhibition displays.
“The Guiding Lights of Heritage is an opportunity for us to showcase the beauty of our shared cultural traditions within the historic walls of Mille Fleurs,” said Graeme Suite, CEO of the National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago. “We invite all Trinbagonians to join us for an evening of togetherness, artistry, and heritage.”
This event is free and open to the public, with registration required.
The National Trust gratefully acknowledges the support of our partners in the business community: Coca-Cola, Vasha Foods, Brand Source, and House of Jaipur.
