Slope Stabilisation Works Continue Along Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the public of the continuation of slope stabilisation works along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway at the 33.5 km mark, within the vicinity of Macaulay Flyover, to facilitate critical repairs to a landslip. These works are expected to commence on Monday, 6th October 2025, and will end on Saturday, 11th October 2025.

The hours of work are 9.00 p.m. – 4.00 a.m.

During this phase of the project, there will be no disruption to the regular flow of traffic, except for equipment intermittently entering and exiting the site.

In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:

  • Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
  • Comply with instructions from Police Officers or flag persons on site, to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
  • Be aware of equipment in the work zone and entering/exiting the site.
  • Motorists should drive at a reduced speed and proceed with caution when approaching the work zone.
  • No shoulder access will be available at the work zone.
