Parishioners gathered at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Port of Spain on Sunday in celebration of the 175th Anniversary of the establishment of the Archdiocese of Port of Spain and the 174th Anniversary of the Dedication of the Cathedral.
Archbishop of Port of Spain, Charles Jason Gordon, said that during those years the church has been the healing balm for the capital city, and the nation by extension, through darker times.
Archbishop Gordon urged the congregation to be united in the work that continues. As times change, he encouraged them to be the difference in everyday life, saying yes to what is right.
