The Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) and Next Level Performance Trinidad & Tobago have announced the hosting of a Football Combine & Showcase, set to take place from December 12th to 14th at the Diego Martin Sporting Complex.
In a media release, the SSFL stated that the event is designed to give student-athletes more opportunities to earn US college scholarships through the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
Coaches from two top NJCAA men’s and women’s soccer programmes, along with one National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II Programme, will be present at the event to scout players from Trinidad and Tobago.
Schools have been invited to nominate their best male and female players for registration. These athletes will take part in performance tests, play in showcase matches, and gain valuable exposure to international recruiters.
