Officers of the Port of Spain Division conducted Operation Trident yesterday, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of narcotics.
Between the hours of 3pm and 9pm on Thursday December 4th, 2025, officers targeted several key areas including the Belmont District, Besson Street Police Station District, Central Police Station District, Woodbrook Police Station District, Downtown Port of Spain, Queen’s Park Savannah, Gonzales, Beetham Gardens, and Sea Lots.
During the operation, officers seized 13.36 kilogrammes of cannabis, carrying an estimated street value of TTD $233,800.00.
The exercise was spearheaded by Snr. Supt. Thom, Supt. Revanales, Supt. Baird, and ASP Cadette, coordinated by Insp. Braithwaite, and supervised by Sgts. Guerra, Sookhoo, and St. Bernard.
