Since assuming office in May 2025, the Government of Trinidad and Tobago, through the Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services, has prioritised disaster response and recovery, delivering timely, practical, and compassionate assistance to families affected by floods, severe weather, and other emergencies across the country.
