Carnival Every Night: NCC Teases Packed Events Schedule

As the Carnival season continues to unfold, Chief Executive Officer of the National Carnival Commission, Keiba Jacob Mottley, says patrons can look forward to events every night leading up to the grand finale.

In an interview on Sweet 100.1, she said that the NCC will continue to do its part in putting Carnival first.

“That is the purpose of the National Carnival Commission, we exist to create an enabling environment, for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival to thrive, and to give opportunities to our cultural entrepreneurs.”

Patrons can expect events at the Flava Food Village and The John Cupid Carnival Village, in addition to other staple events like Panorama Semis carded for February 1st.

“We want Trinidad and Tobago to support these events. The stick fighting event in Tunapuna at Constantine Park is also free, that stick fighting event has been a lot of vibes, and energy, and all of the Village events and so on are also free, and we have some headline artistes who will be headlining particular nights, so the National Carnival Commission, in collaboration with Patrice Roberts, is offering a free concert. We have Dil-E-Nadan in the John Cupid Carnival Village on the 21st of January, we also have Ravi B in John Cupid. So we have a lot.”
