The Trinidad and Tobago Red Force Divas secured a third-place finish in the Cricket West Indies T20 Blaze when they defeated Guyana by seven runs at the Arnos Vale Playing Field in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Friday.
The Red Force Divas, who batted first, had a poor start with early dismissals of Shunelle Sawh and Djenaba Joseph. At 31 for 2, Britney Cooper scored an innings-high of 46 runs, which included six boundaries, anchoring a low-scoring innings that ended at 104 for 7.
In reply, Guyana were bowled out for 97 runs in 19.4 overs, as T&T’s bowlers defended their score. The innings included three wickets from captain Karishma Ramharack as the Red Force Divas captured third place.
