Trinidad and Tobago’s hopes of qualifying for the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup came to an end on Sunday after suffering a 7–0 defeat at the hands of El Salvador in their CONCACAF Under-17 World Cup Qualifiers.
T&T, which needed a win to stay alive in Group F, struggled in the first half, going down 3–0 at the break. The Soca Princesses failed to mount a comeback after the restart, conceding four goals to eventually go down 7–0.
The result sees T&T finishing third in Group F, missing out on the qualifying spots.
