Trinidad and Tobago has named its flag bearers for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
Alpine skiers Nikhil Alleyne and Emma Gatcliffe will carry the national colours at the Opening Ceremony on February 6th.
It’s a proud moment for Trinidad and Tobago as the nation prepares for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
Alleyne will compete at the Bormio Cluster, while Gatcliffe will do so in Cortina.
Both athletes will compete in giant slalom and slalom events from February 6th to 22nd.
The Opening Ceremony takes place simultaneously in two locations: Milan’s Arco della Pace and San Siro Stadium, and Cortina d’Ampezzo’s Piazza Dibona.
Team TTO also includes bobsleigh competitors, continuing the nation’s growing winter sports legacy.
For Alleyne and Gatcliffe, this honour represents years of sacrifice, determination, and the unwavering support of an entire nation behind them.
