Terri Lyons is the 2026 Calypso Monarch.
Performing in eighth position at the Calypso Monarch Final during the Dimanche Gras show, Lyons delivered a powerful rendition of “Blessings,” earning the only standing ovation of the night and effectively sealing her place as the new Calypso Monarch.
She scored 263 points to take home the $1 million first prize and a brand-new SUV, courtesy of Lifestyle Motors Limited.
According to information supplied by TUCO, Lyons is a powerhouse performer, singer, songwriter and actress whose journey in the arts began at the age of seven. As the daughter of seven-time Soca Monarch Super Blue (Austin Lyons), she has carved out an extraordinary legacy of her own, having previously won the National Calypso Monarch title in 2020. She is also the reigning Queen of Queens (Queen of the Caribbean) for 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Placing second in the Calypso Monarch Final was the 2026 Young King, Rivaldo London. He scored 245 points for “Water Thicker.”
Rounding out the top three was Rikki Jai, Samraj Jaimungal, who scored 241 points with “Doh Spoil Meh Name.”
