Police Cruise To 3–0 Victory Over Civic

Game two at the Police Barracks featured the home team, who are in the top three, and Point Fortin Civic FC, who are in the relegation discussion.

Point Fortin Civic FC sat second from bottom in the TT Premier Football League points standings when they came into Port of Spain to battle Miscellaneous Police FC at the Ken Cooke Ground.

The hosts were sitting in third, and if their title aspirations are fading, there is still the prospect of post-season CONCACAF action to look forward to if they maintain a lofty position.

Police would open their account in the 25th minute when former national defender Mekeil Williams found his captain, Jabari Mitchell, who finished well to beat Levi Fernandez in the Civic goal.

It was 2–0 when Jardel John found Jem Gordon, and he fired one in, which got a deflection to beat Fernandez in the 31st minute.

John was in charge of the right flank and kept floating the crosses in, with the finish just over the bar, as the first half came to a close.

In the 63rd minute, Police added another despite the best efforts of Fernandez, who ended up entangled at the back of the net as he tried to keep out the goal from Jean-Heim McFee.

Miscellaneous Police FC with the 3–0 win over Point Fortin Civic FC, the defeat sending the team from the Deep South to the bottom of the points standings.
