THA Assessing Economic Impact Of Blue Wave Harmony Issues

Compensation is being considered for businesses affected by ongoing challenges on the sea bridge involving the cargo vessel Blue Wave Harmony.

During a press conference on Sunday, Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary Farley Augustine announced that the Division of Finance has been tasked with conducting research to determine the economic impact on businesses.

Mr Augustine noted that the THA itself has also been affected by the disruptions on the sea bridge.

He also indicated that he is scheduled to meet with the Tobago Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Commerce.
