Women At The Forefront On World Water Day

Centering women and girls in water solutions is one of the key messages being underscored by the United Nations, as it commemorates World Water Day.

That message is being reflected locally through the work of the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA), whose leadership involves women in developing sustainable and resilient water solutions.

Speaking as a leader within the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA), Candice Santana, emphasized the importance of climate resilience and adaptation in safeguarding the region’s water sector.
