Energy Ministry Holds Introductory Talks with ARTEMIS Energy Limited

The Honourable Ernesto Kesar, Minister in the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries met with the leadership of ARTEMIS Energy Limited on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the Ministry’s head office at the International Waterfront Centre, Port of Spain.

Minister Kesar was accompanied by Ms. Karinsa Tulsie, Permanent Secretary (Ag.) at the Ministry, while ARTEMIS Energy Limited was represented by its CEO, Mr. Nicholas Mike, and Executive Chairman, Mr. Roger Mike.

The introductory meeting centred on the evolving energy landscape in Trinidad and Tobago and the increasingly important role that logistics and manpower providers play in sustaining and growing the sector. The ARTEMIS delegation used the occasion to present an overview of the company’s operations, strategic priorities, and areas of technical expertise, while affirming the company’s commitment to supporting the continued growth and modernisation of the country’s energy industry.

On the Government’s part, Minister Kesar reaffirmed the administration’s policy of proactive engagement with industry stakeholders, stressing the importance of ensuring that the development and operation of the energy sector translates into maximum benefit for the people of Trinidad and Tobago and contributes to the strengthening of the local industrial base.

Both parties agreed on the value of open dialogue in identifying opportunities and navigating challenges within the sector, and committed to maintaining ongoing engagement as discussions and initiatives develop further.
