Fifteen-year-old Tannon Niemeyer is aiming to carry on this country’s history of producing top throwing athletes at the 2026 CARIFTA Games.
Competing in the Boys Under-17 Javelin, the Diego Martin native, who trains for Ascend Athletics, finished fifth in his first CARIFTA appearance and is looking to surpass a distance of 55 metres at this year’s Games.
