Inflation for March 2026 rose to 0.7%, up from 0.6% in February 2026, according to the Central Statistical Office.
The inflation rate is measured using the All Items Index over a 12-month period.
The Inflation Rate for the comparative period (March 2025/March 2024) was 1.0%.
The All Items Index increased to 125.9 in March, a month-on-month rise of 0.1%.
The index for Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages climbed by 0.7%, while Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco rose by 0.9%.
Clothing and footwear recorded a decline of 0.6%.
