A 23-year-old man has appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with the murder of 44-year-old Tricia Marajh.
Police said Nelijah Bain, a sales assistant of Arima, has also been charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The victim, Tricia Marajh of St. Joseph, was shot and killed on April 8th, 2026.
The suspect was arrested on April 16 in Arima by officers of the Criminal Investigations Department and charged on April 21, following legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A sufficiency hearing has been set for October 12th, 2026.
