The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association has confirmed the appointment of Derek King as head coach of the Senior Men’s National Team, removing his interim tag.
King, who had been serving in an interim role since March, has signed a one-year contract with an option to renew.
This marks his first full appointment after previous stints as interim and assistant coach.
Following the announcement, TTFA President Kieron Edwards said the move reflects confidence in King’s leadership and understanding of the national programme.
King’s first assignments will be two international friendlies against South Korea on May 30th in Utah, followed by Russia on June 9th, before preparations begin for the Concacaf Nations League in September.
