Anti-crime exercises in the Maloney and St. Joseph districts over the weekend resulted in the arrest of one man and the seizure and destruction of cannabis trees.
In Maloney, acting on information, officers searched a forested area behind Britten Boulevard, where 65 cannabis trees were discovered and destroyed.
Meanwhile, in St. Joseph, in a police exercise along Rapsy Street, Curepe, officers found approximately 820 grammes of cannabis hidden inside a drain.
Additionally, police arrested a man along the Priority Bus Route in Curepe, matching the description of a suspect linked to recent disturbances in the area.
Police are continuing investigations into these matters.
