The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) is mourning the loss of former footballer Randy Ramcharan, who died Saturday while playing in the Edinburgh 500 Masters Football Tournament. He was 45 years old.
Randy Ramcharan, a midfielder, was widely celebrated as one of the standout players from St Augustine Secondary School’s renowned ‘Green Machine’ programme and remained active in the sport with the St. Augustine Old Boys up to his passing.
During his club career, he represented Caledonia AIA, Doc’s Khelwalas, and the Harlem Strikers in the Central Football Association Premier Division.
The TTFA, on behalf of President Kieron Edwards and the Executive Committee, extended condolences to Ramcharan’s family, friends, former teammates and schoolmates at this time.
