$35 Million Milestone For TT BizLink Platform

The TTBizLink platform processed a substantial TT$35.5 million, spanning nearly 85,000 transactions in 2025 alone.

TTBizLink is a secure, user-friendly online platform that gives businesses and individuals access to information and government e-services related to trade and business.

Speaking at the “Network Circle” event on Wednesday evening, aimed at empowering MSMEs and the wider business community, Minister of Trade, Investment and Tourism Satyakama Maharaj reminded that the platform is designed to give entrepreneurs and exporters direct access to critical information, from market rules to import duties.

He said TTBizLink continues to expand in scope, with more Government agencies being integrated and services increasingly automated to reduce delays and inefficiencies.

“Every week we have updates on where you are, how many more customers you get. The Ministry of Health wants to join it now. We are facilitating their businesses. But you get all the information you need to run a business there. Okay, you want to export to Turkey, you can go in there and seek the information of what the import duties are going to be there and what the products come from Turkey, what that duty is.”

The Minister said the system allows users to quickly compare international trade conditions and navigate requirements for exports and imports, improving decision-making for businesses seeking to scale beyond the domestic market.

“All kinds of information you need to run a business. But really, it is streamlined, and we connect it to the customs to streamline everything. So it is work in progress, but it keeps improving and improving all the time. So I advise all of you to jump on that platform.”
