More than 350 Lions and Leos from across the Caribbean and North America gathered in Trinidad and Tobago recently for the 46th Multiple District 60 Convention under the theme, “Unity in Diversity, Celebrating the Caribbean Spirit.”
The Convention focused on fellowship, leadership development, networking, and the election of new District leaders, while providing opportunities to strengthen partnerships and share ideas to better serve Caribbean communities.
The importance of volunteerism in national development, sustainable, impactful initiatives, innovative fundraising and stronger collaboration with governments, the private sector, and development agencies were some of the themes explored at the Convention.
Lions Clubs operate under Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization, dedicated to humanitarian service and community support worldwide.
The annual Multiple District 60 Convention is hosted by a Caribbean nation each year. The 2027 Convention will be held in St. Kitts and Nevis.
