Kaia Sealey was granted bail in the sum of seven hundred thousand dollars, when she appeared before Master Nazira Ali, at the Tunapuna High Court on Wednesday to face nine charges.
The 24 year old went to the United States to seek medical attention, and was arrested upon arrival, at the Piarco International Airport around 1AM on Wednesday.
According to TTPS Public Information Officer, Acting ASP Owie Russell, her arrest was in accordance with the TTPS standard procedure.
“The nine charges are as follows: manslaughter, three count of shooting with intent, possession of firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of firearm within 40 m of a street, possession of firearm to endanger life, and possession of ammunition to endanger life.”
The matter was adjourned to October 8th, 2026 for a status hearing.
