Sent in to bat, T&T recovered from early trouble to register 167 all out in 40.5 overs, with Christian Lall top-scoring with 53 off 70 balls.
Stand-in captain Renaldo Fournillier added valuable support in a 62-run partnership.
In reply, despite Romario Ramdehol’s unbeaten 41, Guyana collapsed from a strong position to finish on 143 all out in 34.3 overs.
Daniel Holder, Amrit Pittman and Daron Dhanraj each claimed three wickets.
