PM Meets High-Level US Delegation To Deepen Bilateral Ties

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar SC has reaffirmed Trinidad and Tobago’s commitment to strengthening ties with the United States during talks with a high-level US delegation.

The delegation included Deputy Assistant Secretary for Caribbean Affairs and Haiti Barbara Feinstein, Chargé d’Affaires Philip Kern, and Chief Policy Officer of the US International Development Finance Corporation, Caroline Vik.

Discussions focused on deepening bilateral cooperation and advancing shared priorities, as both countries reaffirmed their longstanding partnership.

The Government says the engagement reflects its commitment to building strong international relationships that drive investment, support economic growth, and create opportunities for the people of Trinidad and Tobago.

Also attending the meeting were Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Minister Sean Sobers, Attorney General John Jeremie, Finance Minister Davendranath Tancoo, Energy Minister Dr Roodal Moonilal, Works and Infrastructure Minister Jearlean John, and Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence Minister Dominic Smith.
