Dominic And Genevieve Hadeed To Be Released Under Strict Home Confinement

Business executives Dominic and Genevieve Hadeed are to be released from detention but will remain under strict home confinement after the Appeal Court granted them interim relief while their legal challenge to their Preventive Detention Orders (PDOs) is being determined.

In the ruling issued today, the Court declared that the couple will have to face a series of stringent conditions.

These include surrendering their passports, firearms and all communication devices. They are also prohibited from communicating with anyone outside their residence, either directly or indirectly, without prior approval from the Commissioner of Police.

The ruling further states that the duo are not permitted to leave their home and cannot receive visitors unless approved in advance by the Commissioner.

Only authorised medical practitioners, legal representatives and approved caregivers will be allowed access to the property.

Police will also be allowed to enter the premises to ensure compliance with the conditions.

The judges warned that if the couple breaches any of the conditions, they will be detained again.
