MV Golden Carrier Completes Successful Loaded Sea Trial

The MV Golden Carrier successfully completed its loaded sea trial overnight, sailing from Tobago to Trinidad with 140 vehicles on board.

According to a social media post from the Port of Spain, following the vessel’s arrival at the Port of Spain Ferry Terminal on Monday morning, trucks, trailers and other vehicles safely disembarked as operational teams continued vessel readiness activities.

On Sunday night, aboard the MV Golden Carrier, trucks and cargo were loaded at the Scarborough Port before it made its way to Port of Spain as part of the vessel’s scheduled loaded sea trial.

The MV Golden Carrier will replace the MV Blue Wave Harmony on the domestic sea bridge.
