Trinidad and Tobago’s Ella-Marie Young enjoyed a golden weekend at the Caribbean Junior Road Cycling Championships, claiming both the Juvenile Women’s individual time trial and road race titles.
The 16-year-old dominated Saturday’s time trial, capturing her first gold of the weekend.
Less than 24 hours later, she returned to the road to deliver another statement victory, claiming gold in the Juvenile Women’s road race in 1:58:52, finishing ahead of Barbados riders Laila Mc Intyre and Victoria Bourne.
