At just 16 years old, Form Five student of Trinity College East Malachi Senhouse is using technology to tackle challenges facing local farmers and market vendors.
As the creator of VendaTT, a digital platform designed to connect vendors directly with consumers and businesses, Malachi joins Virmala to discuss the inspiration behind the project, his experience winning the Secondary Schools category of CARIRI’s Innovation Nation 2026 PowerUp Competition, and the potential for VendaTT to become a real business.
He also shares his broader vision for Poinsettia Group, his interest in agricultural and environmental innovation, and the lessons he has learnt about pursuing big ideas at a young age.
