Taking on powerlifting for two years and counting, 21-year-old Joshua McSween has made a strong impression on the international stage.
Competing in his first international tournament for Trinidad and Tobago, McSween excelled at the 2026 Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Winnipeg, Canada, most notably breaking the World Junior deadlift record in the 105-kilogramme category.
