A 65 year old Chaguanas businessman was arrested after a large quantity of alcohol was found and seized at a business place in Enterprise, Chaguanas during an exercise by Northern Division Officers.
Reports indicate that following investigations, officers found a large quantity of beer, wine, and rum. Police also discovered that the businessman did not have the required license to sell the liquor in his possession. The items were checked and seized and he was arrested for Selling Alcohol without a License Contrary to the Liquor License Act.
Charges are expected to laid following further enquires.
