Seven-year-old Angelica Jogie passed away from multiple traumatic injuries sustained in a jet ski collision last week.
This was confirmed by Senior Superintendent, Tobago Division, Rodhil Kirk, following an autopsy by pathologist Dr. Hubert Daisley at the Scarborough Mortuary on Monday.
Angelica was bathing with relatives at the Pigeon Point Heritage Park on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026, when a jet ski ploughed into them, injuring multiple persons. Angelica received the worst of the impact and later died in hospital.
Crown Point Police have since apprehended a 32-year-old man in connection with the incident. He remains in custody.
Senior Superintendent Kirk stated that when police are satisfied that investigations are complete, the matter will be referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions for further action.
