One homeowner in Windsor Park, Claxton Bay says she has not received any assistance as her family’s house continues to slip down the slope on which it is perched.
Their neighbour’s home is now at the bottom of the hill after it slid to destruction on Wednesday.
Mrs. Nadira Ramsaran-Williams told TTT News she began to evacuate when the reality of the danger became evident.
She wants help with housing but says she will not accept family handouts. Mrs. Ramsaran-Williams is adamant those who are carrying out quarrying activity near her home are responsible for the disaster.
MP for the area, David Lee, told TTT News he is aware of the problem and has been working to help the residents.
