Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations and Gold Commander for the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Elections, Suzette Martin, met with stakeholders in Tobago ahead of Monday’s THA election.
DCP Martin began the courtesy calls on Wednesday, meeting with Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Farley Augustine, to discuss security arrangements being put in place by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service for election day.
She also met with senior representatives of the People’s National Movement and the Innovative Democratic Alliance, including political leader Dr. Denise Tsoiafatt-Angus.
DCP Martin reiterated the TTPS’ commitment to political neutrality, public safety and the smooth, transparent and incident-free conduct of the upcoming elections.
