In anticipation of the Indigenous Peoples Conference 2025, taking place on 6th and 7th October at the La Horquetta Library, Chief Ricardo Bharath Hernandez of the Santa Rosa First Peoples Community joined the programme via Zoom, alongside Glenroy Halls of All Mansions of Rastafari via phone. The discussion focused on indigenous identity, cultural preservation, ancestral knowledge, and the significance of unity among indigenous and Afro-descendant communities. The conference aims to educate, empower, and foster dialogue around heritage, rights, and recognition.
