The relocated John Cupid Carnival Village was opened on Friday and the National Carnival Commission is expecting bigger crowds and a more immersive experience.
The John Cupid Carnival village has moved from its traditional location near the drag at the queens park savannah to the Greens
National Carnival Commission Chairman Peter Kanhai says the bigger space give a bigger experience for persons who trek from all around the country for a taste of mas.
The John Cupid Village, will run until the 29th of January and then make way for the Savannah party on the greens and The Minister of Culture and Community Development Michelle Benjamin says she is happy to see the two villages thriving in the mecca of carnival the Queens Park Savannah.
She is encouraging all of Trinidad and Tobago to come out and find something they love at both the carnival villages.
