Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar officially launched the Premium Passenger Services at Piarco International Airport on Monday 23rd February 2026, prior to her departure for the CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting in St. Kitts and Nevis.
The Prime Minister was joined by the Minister of Works and Infrastructure and Acting Prime Minister, Ms. Jearlean John; Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Senator Eli Zakour; THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine; Chairman of the Airports Authority, Mr. Aaron Henry; along with other Government Ministers, Board Members and Executives of the Authority.
The Premium Passenger Service, an initiative of the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, forms part of a suite of new offerings designed to enhance the customer experience at the nation’s international airports. The service is currently available to premium travellers, including business class passengers on Caribbean Airlines and users of the Flyers Lounge. Plans are also in place to introduce the service as a paid fast-track option.
