Red Hill Residents Turn Out For Free Flea Market

Members of the Red Hill community came out in their numbers to take full advantage of the free flea market at the Red Hill Community Centre.

The free flea market was hosted by the PNM candidate for Trincity/Maloney, Camille Robinson-Regis, who explained that Saturday marked the fourth time in two years the event was held, and that it was previously held in Bon Air and Arouca.

“It is a flea market, but you don’t have to pay anything; it is all free. So we’re here today doing what we normally do. It is not something that we’re unaccustomed to doing. We’ve had it on four occasions; at least, this is our fourth occasion having this event and we have a very good turnout from the residents of the Red Hill community. We normally have a very good turnout whenever we have this free flea market.”

Members of the community had the opportunity to select from a variety of household and personal items.

Mrs. Robinson-Regis thanked the private citizens and corporate sponsors who came together to help make the free flea market a success.
