Tobago has recorded its first murder for 2026.
TTT News understands that 25-year-old Jamaille Fraser of Cornal Rock Road, Signal Hill, was found dead on Friday night.
According to police, around 10:34pm on Friday, a man was proceeding to his home when he observed the body of a man clad in a white vest and short pants lying motionless on the ground. Upon making checks, he identified the deceased as Mr. Fraser.
He contacted the police, who responded and observed the body lying on the ground with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the head. The body was later transported to the Scarborough Mortuary.
One man is currently in custody.
