The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service’s Community Conflict Resolution Centre (CCRC) partnered with the Children’s Authority of Trinidad and Tobago to engage residents of the Mt. Dor Road, Champ Fleurs neighbourhood through a community walk.
The walk which was held on Saturday was used to sensitise and educate people about the services available from both organisations – as well as encourage residents to participate in the upcoming parenting and conflict resolution workshops being hosted by both agencies.
Leader of the St. Joseph Police Youth Club and Coordinating officer of the CCRC, WPC Sasha Williams-Goddard, said they were also joined by the Child Protection Unit and the Gender Violence Unit of the TTPS.
She said the CCRC tries its best to bring services closer to the people of St. Joseph.
