Yorke Names Squad To Face St. Kitts

Isaiah Leacock and Levi Garcia are just two of the names included in head coach Dwight Yorke’s 26-man squad, ahead of Trinidad and Tobago’s important World Cup qualifier versus St Kitts and Nevis on June 6th.

With the Trinidad and Tobago Senior Men’s Football Team’s crucial Concacaf World Cup qualifier against St Kitts and Nevis drawing near, head coach Dwight has named a 26-man squad ahead of Friday’s match.

In the goalkeeping department, T&T’s first-choice goalkeeper and AV Alta FC player Denzil Smith retains his place on the team. Yorke would also be relying on veteran Marvin Phillip and Defence Force’s Jabari St Hillaire.

Among some of the defenders are the reliable Alvin Jones, 34-year-old Sheldon Bateau, Josiah Trimmingham, young American-based defender Wayne Frederick the second. Left back Andre Raymond and Isaiah Garcia were also included.

The midfield has a lot of attack options, in the form of Kevin Molino and Joevin Jones.

Some of the midfield sees Steffen Yeates, who scored his first T&T goal against Cuba; Daniel Phillips; Isaiah Lee; Rio Cardines, Andre Rampersad; and Nathaniel James being included.
